In previous years Redruth has attracted thousands of people to enjoy craft stalls, sports activities and music on the day.
The St Piran event marks the first of four major annual events held in the town, alongside Murdoch Day, the Cornish Pasty Festival, and Christmas activities.
Town development manager Lee Dunkley said: "We have developed the festival into Cornwall's biggest St Piran celebration, and 2013 will be no different.
"We have a strong working group of volunteers, but we need more people with ideas and some spare time to come forward and help make this a proud day for the town and for Cornwall as a whole.
"I urge interested people to come along to St Rumon's Club on November 7."
Stu Williams, Redruth Radio manager and St Piran organiser, added: "The St Piran Festival is a time of great excitement and pride for Redruth.
"We have an active community and a wonderful town, and it is times like these when we must all come together."
