Three people were taken to hospital after a collision which forced police to close a Devon road for eight hours. Emergency services were called to the B3193 Chudleigh Road, known locally as Claypits Road, in Kingsteignton at 3.50pm on Thursday. A Ford Fiesta, driven by a 27-year-old local woman, and a Ford Focus, containing men, aged 84-years old and 18 years old, were involved. Police say the woman and the older man were taken to hospitals in Exeter and Torbay respectively, while the teenager, was airlifted to Derriford Hospital, Plymouth.
