CLLR Paula Richards, who runs the Bean Inn vegetarian restaurant in St Ives, will try for a second time tonight to persuade councillors to sever links with the Western Hunt.

She wants the council to snub them during forthcoming feast celebrations.

The motion was initially debated in June, but postponed as leading councillors were absent.

The public is free to speak before the debate at 7pm in the Guildhall council chamber.
