Most incredible care-home I have ever seen.
I recently had the priviledge of visiting an incredible home for people with Dementia and Alzheimer's.
What used to be the crossroads hotel at scorrier; now crossroads house, has been developed into the most amazing living experience I have seen.

There are indoor , outdoor spaces complete with grass ; one lady with a big smile on her face was playing skittles with a carer . Next to it was a patio type area with natural ligh panels above; in the evening there are street light type lights. There was a pub, a cafe, a shop, a hair saloon all set out in a way that felt like a place in the past; it was a very emotional experience. There was a room done out like an old train carriage as you came in off the platform.
The corridors outside peoples room have street like lighting at night. The sensory experience was just brilliant.
As we walked around, everyone we saw seemed happily engrossed in something; an old chap with an amazing voice was walking around singing to us as we went.
I think I will book my place there now.
