Bill joins in 200-mile cycle ride for charity
A man from Devon has completed a charity cycle challenge from London to Paris.
Bill Stacey-Norris, from Yelverton, completed the 200-mile cycle challenge in three days, as part of a wider team cycling to raise funds for Diabetes UK. The challenge started in Greenwich, in south-east London, and saw the cyclists pedalling through the Kent countryside before boarding a ferry from Dover to Calais. The team then continued their cycle over 120 miles through the Seine Valley and into the French capital.
Bill, who was himself diagnosed with diabetes ten years ago at 38, said: "I am always ready for a challenge to show that diabetes is no barrier to the things I want to do."
