Over-limit builder banned for year
A SELF-EMPLOYED builder would have his earnings and work seriously affected by losing his driving licence after being found to be a drink-driver by the police in Helston on January 11, Truro Magistrates' Court heard.
Shaun Pellow, 44, of Coronation Avenue, Camborne, pleaded guilty to drink-driving after he registered 51mcg, 16 points over the legal limit, after police stopped his vehicle and smelt alcohol on his breath.
Neil Lewin, his solicitor, said Pellow had been drinking at home when his partner contacted him for a lift and he made an error of judgement.
He regretted it and was sorry.
