FELICITY Fyr Le Fay will open the annual Faery Ball at the Acorn Arts Centre on Friday with a very special Elemental fire faery dance.

Belly dancer Cara Bamford will also be performing a very special dance.

Music will be provided by Dorset-based band, The Dolmen, who play an eclectic mixture of vibrant, very dancy tunes, perfect for bopping the night away. Plus there will be a faery fashion show, exclusive short film screening, and a light finger buffet.

This will be the third Faery Ball to be held in Penzance, and each year this vibrant and somewhat eccentric fantasy event holds a place in the hearts of local people and businesses alike.

Event organiser Karen Kay from Alverton, Penzance, said: "I love this time of year, and it's a real joy to see all kinds of people dressing up for the Faery Ball.

"I like the way that young and old join together in celebration of faeries and fantasy. It's all very good natured, and no-one takes themselves too seriously! It's a prefect excuse to dress up and have fun."

The Faery Ball precedes the Faery, Angel and Healing Fayre which takes place on Saturday and Sunday at St John's Hall.

A magical weekend of healing, faeries, angels and fun with exhibitors, faery and angel workshops, demos, food and more.

Special guest artists include: Peter Pracownik, Linda Ravenscroft and Josephine Wall, along with dancer Felicity (pictured) who teams up with Muddlehead the Pixie for Children's entertainment and free workshops.
