Some music events across Cornwall this week
THURSDAY, March 28, sees Love Riot's shiny Disco Bus skidding back into Falmouth town to take over both floors of Mango's Bar for the night. Headlining upstairs will be the mega popular Mighty Mouse, a regular in the Hype Machine number No1 spot. Alongside will be super hot up-and-comer from London, Clancy, while on warm-up duties will be Cornwall's hunkiest DJ Ry Spenceley as well as the mysterious Barons Of Funk, with Jamie Giddens and friends taking over downstairs. DUTCH folk duo Linde Nijland and Bert Ridderbos play Boscastle Village Hall on Saturday at 7.30pm. Tickets at £10 each and can be reserved by texting 07886 813343.
BRAGATANGA, the Cornish band whose experience and inspiration come from all over the world, play the Commercial Hotel, St Just, on Friday from 7.30pm. Jim Carey, accordionist, has written music for Kneehigh, Miracle Theatre and the Eden Project.
