Anyone with old photographs, pictures and maps of the warehouse and harbour area is encouraged to submit them for use in the display.
“The exhibition is to give people a chance to look inside the restored building and to see the old photographs and pictures,” said Phil Bradby, director of Mango Homes, the company in charge of the development.
Work has started on the new restaurant building next to the warehouse.
It will be a curved building, inspired by the sail of a ship, and made from timber and glass.
Offices in both the warehouse and restaurant are still available to let.
If anyone has any material they would like to be used in the exhibition, contact Mr Bradby, by e-mailing (phil@mango homes.co.uk), writing to him at The Abbey Warehouse, Abbey Street, Penzance TR18 4BW, or visiting www.mangohomes.co.uk
The company is happy to pay for copying and framing.
The exhibition will run from August 8-9, between 12-3pm.
