Following the success of gala day and the return of the carnival last year after an absence of 15 years, the town council, Callington Lions and the Rotary club have joined forces to hold a week of festivities.
The week will start with gala day on Saturday, July 11, and finish with the carnival on July 18.
In between there will be local choir performances, a salsa dance evening, belly dancing, bingo, a town band concert and a teddy bears' picnic and a Greek-themed evening.
The week aims to revive the sense of community spirit in the town. Anyone wishing to run a stall at gala day should contact Jamie Dowdall at jamiedowdall@f2s.net
