First panto to be held in St Just for seven years

THREE drama societies in St Just in west Cornwall have merged to put on a pantomime in the town for the first time in seven years.

The West Cornwall Theatre Group, St Just Amateur Operatic Society and Cape Amateur Players and Entertainers have joined forces to form new drama society Proper Job, under the banner of CAPE.

No pantomime has been held in St Just since 2005 when the town hall closed.

CAPE will be performing old favourite Babes in the Wood at the Old Town Hall in St Just from January 9 until January 12.

The cast comprises of some new names in the St Just panto scene, as well as several former favourites, such as Jenny Reynolds, Jayne Pierce and Dave Smith.
