One person trapped after car crashes into telegraph pole at Tresillian
Update - 4.45pm - Paramedics, firemen and police responded to an accident involving a car and a telegraph pole in Tresillian at around 1.15pm today.
Upon arrival the emergency services discovered that one person was trapped in the vehicle and had to be freed with cutting equipment.
The vehicle, believed to be a blue Toyota estate, was lying on its side in the road, with airbags deployed.
It is not yet known whether anybody was injured.

The telegraph pole is down and the snapped wires are in the surrounding trees.
The accident occurred between the Audi garage and the Pencalenick turn-off, on the way out of the village on the A390 towards Truro.
One lane is now open with police directing traffic as engineers from Western Power work to isolate the electricity from the downed cables.
