“ This summer our beautiful, rambunctious Newfy, spent 3 weeks at Creusa. His holiday was as action packed as ours! As we were sunning ourselves on the beach in the Channel Islands our dog was splashing around in the doggy paddle pool at Creusa under the caring and watchful eyes of Kerry, Kathy and their great team! Marley had a very spacious kennel with inside and outside space - lots of room to play with his toys and sleep in the shade. He even had a photo shoot with the team. I cannot recommend Creusa enough. The team genuinely love their furry house guests and are professionally qualified - Kath is an experienced vet and lives on site. When it's holiday time - Marley bounds up to Kerry with big licks and genuine excitement. He loves his holidays too! ”

Welcome to Creusa Kennels and Cattery!
We are a small kennels and cattery situated in the heart of Cornwall just off the A30 between Bodmin and St Austell.
The Kennels and Cattery are owned and run by an experienced small-animal veterinary surgeon who lives on site. We offer loving, safe and stimulating surroundings for family pets whilst they are away from their home environment. All animals are cared for by our highly experienced and qualified staff. Geriatric pets or those with health problems that require medication are all catered for by our knowledgeable team.
Dogs of any size or breed can be accomodated in our spacious heated kennels, each with individual outside runs. All dogs that stay with us will have daily play/exercise sessions in our purpose built play paddocks and we have a vast array of toys to keep dogs occupied too.
Cats have a choice of spacious indoor cattery units or outdoor chalets with secure outdoor areas. All cattery bedrooms are multi-level, allowing cats to either watch the world go by or snuggle into a warm bed. All the cattery units are heated to keep cats comfortable in cooler weather. Dedicated cattery staff will become their pseudo slave while you are away.
We also care for small furry and feathered pets including rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, ferrets, birds etc.
Limited Grooming is available on request which includes baths and basic clipping.

“Molly (or Mollymoo as she is called at Creusa) LOVES everyone there and the whole experience of all the fun that she has playing ball and running with other friends that she has met and also having photographs taken of her - poser!! Creusa cannot be recommended highly enough. The "team" are all polite, friendly, efficient, enjoy being washed by Molly despite her minging breath and could not look after her better. We always enjoy our breaks knowing that she could not possibly be in any safe hands. She loves it so much that she sometimes asks us to buy a present for them after her stay. What would be do without Creusa? There are not sufficent adjectives in any dictionary to enable me to describe Creusa but I'll try a few: Great, Terrific, Super, Fantastic, Brilliant, Fun, Helpful, Marvellous and - excuse the pun - PURRFECT - athough Molly is a dog!!! We cannot thank everyone at Creusa enough and perhaps we should not encourage extra advertising in case they become so very popular, as they should, that there is no room for Molly. It looks like I can only award five stars here but believe me 5000 would not be sufficient for this wonderful place. ”Report

“I really wasn't happy when a mistake with the booking of their holiday meant I needed to go into kennels. I am a German Shepherd x Collie and I am very shy and timid. Sometimes I get naughty and snarl and snap at stranger humans. If I am out of my routine, even for a small time, I don't eat and I really can not cope without looking after my humans. They need me! In the end my female human heard about Creusa who could take me overnight so I could protect my humans during the day.
For the first night I was very nervous and didn't eat much. However, they collected me the next morning and we had fun all day. I was relieved to get back to Creusa and have my tea, cuddles and bed. All the humans at Creusa were absolutely wonderful, they were so nice and really understood letting me become friends with them in my own time. We played loads of games, tennis balls, paddling pools. It got very hot outside after a couple of days and my humans got tired of the 10 mile walkies I take them on, so they tried leaving me all day at Creusa. No problem! It was much more fun playing and resting in the cool kennels than hanging around in a stately home garden and putting up with the heat. I particularly loved Liam, which really surprised my humans as I normally terrified of human men, but I couldn't resist him!
Now I am home and all the humans I know comment on how much happier and trusting I am around stranger humans. I don't snap at them anymore and sometimes I even let them stroke me. I wasn't like that before Creusa. I felt really loved. My mum enjoys the Creusa Facebook page, full of us animals having a great time.
I refuse to go anywhere else now and my humans are planning their next Cornwall holiday! ”

“Daisy Dog considers Creusa her second home. She loves the fact that there are a variety of dogs to play with, that the staff have been trained in how to look after her properly, that she gets good level of fuss and attention, but most of all she loves how the bedrooms all seem to be designed with her in mind, warm with a soft and comfortable bed for sleep!
Daisy's mum likes the fact that Daisy enjoys going to Creusa, but more importantly that she knows Daisy will be cared for appropriately and kept safe whilst she is busy. She also likes that the staff seems to love Daisy as much as she does!
We (Daisy's mum and Daisy Dog) cannot recommend Creusa Kennels highly enough, the staff are friendly, but professional; they understand and cater for each individual's needs (animal and owner) to ensure that the dog enjoys it's stay and the owner's can relax knowing their dog is well cared for.”

“I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The staff are all fantastic - they cannot do enough for the animals in their care. My cat used to suffer with severe stress when he was put into a cattery but when he is at Creusa, and when I pick him up to come home, he is so happy and stress free. My pet's wellbeing and happiness is mine - and Creusa's - utmost priority. ”Report
