“ The Blue Reef is the ideal destination when the Cornish weather takes hold. Although this isn't the biggest aquarium in the world, what it lack on size it makes up for in charm! The staff are fantastic and the range of 'events' perfect to keep you coming back again and again. From watching the sharking being fed to the chance to take part in a Fishy Census the Blue Reef if excellent... The cafe is great as well. A very family friendly place that will have you returning again and again. ”

“I didn't think a small-town aquarium would measure up to some of the fantastic aquariums I've seen but Blue Reef is really a joy to visit. Located on the cliffs at Newuay's Towan beach it has beautiful views out to sea and you really feel connected to the sea-life there. Perhaps not a whole day's worth to see, but what aquarium is?
Big fish and little fish fun for all ages.”

“I always expect aquariums to be a bit dull. Not sure why but I'm always proved wrong when I get inside and Newquay Aquarium is no exception. It's a lovely place to while away a couple of hours. There's a wide range of fishy creatures, some of them qiute obscure! The previous poster is quite right though it's probably best avoided at peak season as it can get rammed!”

“Not really big nough to fill an entire day but a good day out none the less! We got an annual pass one year which worked out really cheap considering how many times we went back. Can get crazy busy in the peak holiday season so avoid the summer holidays if you can! ”
