“What a lovely day this was; and how lovely to see so many children taking part in the parade and activities outside the Cathedral. The weather was good considering the awful weather we have had, and well done to all the organizers.

There was an incident which left me speechless actually; I had taken a photo on my camera of 2 little girls. A teacher, or someone from the school, demanded my camera and deleted said photograph. It left me feeling disgusted at the lack of trust in people. I am fully aware of the Children's Protection laws; I was a teacher and Guide Guider for 40 odd years.

She obviously missed deleting all the other photos taken - thank heavens. Make of it as you will.....”
