Electric heat is very efficient as 100% of the electricity is turned into heat. The Ecowarmth electric heaters are also very effective in ensuring that the mixture of radiant heat (90%) and convected heat (10%) generated is spread into the room in a very effective and controllable manner.

The Intelligent Thermostat with Power Management System (PMS) exclusive to Ecowarmth continually monitors the required temperature via a temperature feeler at floor level and sends signals to the Thermostat PMS to either switch on and top-up the storage panels with heat, or to switch off and to just allow the stored heat (which now costs nothing) to radiate into the room. This innovative and sensitive control system has been independently tested and the official test confirms that the Ecowarmth heating system, on average requires less than 12 minutes of electricity per hour to provide a full 60 minutes of cosy warmth. The Ecowarmth heating system is much cheaper to run than night storage heating or other storage heaters and is also much more controllable.
