£35,000 sports award to parish council
A Devon parish council has been allocated funds of more than £35,000 to help people play sport and continue the Olympic legacy. Ugborough Parish Council and Moorhaven Management joined together to secure £35,350 from Sport England's protecting playing fields Olympic legacy. It will use the investment to level the Moorhaven playing field to make it suitable for a wider range of team sports. The fund is part of the £150 million community programme across the country.
