Not present in court
A MAN charged with theft and harassment was not present at Truro Magistrates' Court because he was deemed not fit to travel and was undergoing counselling for mental health issues.
Daniel Lea, 29, of Laurel Avenue, Blackpool, was charged with stealing £3,520 from Paul Gooding of the Bath Inn, Penzance, on September 3.
He is also accused of harassing Leoni Fotheringham at Penzance through a number of texts and Facebook messages.
His solicitor, Charles Hulley, said the matters would be contested. The case was adjourned for two weeks.
