A dispersal sale saw the end to more than 30 years of dairying for Bowden Farms at Templecombe, near Wincanton.

Auctioneers Greenslade Taylor Hunt sold the NMR herd belonging to the P H P & L S W de Pelet Partners at Sedgemoor Auction Centre.

In-calf heifers due this Autumn sold to 1,520gns for a Bombay granddaughter out of a 11,000kg dam. Yearling heifers by Abs Gigolo, Askew Reece and Gran-J Oman McCormick sold to 870gns. The heifer-calf trade was on fire, selling after their dams to 580gns.
