TWO men had to be rescued this morning after their boat came into difficulty in rough sea near Hayle.
The men had been rowing out to sea in a dory style boat near the Hayle estuary when it came in to difficulty ar around 4.00am this morning.
After realising they were far from shore they looked to return to the beach.

A spokesperson from Falmouth Coastguard said: "We were called just after 4.00am this morning. The inshore lifeboat was launched and we found one person on the beach near Mexico Towans and the other holding on to the boat out at sea.
"We were concerned at how far the boat was out.
"The lifeboat, from St Ives, towed the dory to shore. Both men were uninjured but were treated by paramedics.
"They were obviously very cold."
