Golden Lion Inn & Lakeside Restaurant at Stithians Lake Cornwall welcomes all, whether you are dining alone, as a couple or family with or without your family dog.

Whether it's Sunday Lunch, Mother's Day, Valentines Day or just a relaxing meal to celebrate something with someone special, our Lakeside Restaurant provides the perfect setting. During the day our large conservatory-style windows provide plenty of light as well as wonderful views of our award-winning gardens and Stithians Lake.

With level access, disabled toilet, baby changing facilities and highchairs our Restaurant suits diners from nine months to ninety years of age.

Of an evening the candle-lit tables and softly lit views of the gardens provide a warm and intimate setting to enjoy a meal with friends, family or just your favourite person.

The Golden Lion Inn retains all the charm and atmosphere of its traditional roots as a Cornish country pub, with its oak beamed granite bar area, boasting three real log fires, slate floors, and high-back settles.

Whether you are looking to enjoy a meal from our extensive menus or simply catch up with friends over a drink, our Bar area is the perfect spot, especially beside the fires after a day on the lake fishing, walking, rowing or windsurfing.

Dogs and their owners are also welcome in our bar area, where we provide the same menu choice and levels of table service as in our Lakeside Restaurant.

The Snug is a particularly popular part of our Bar with groups and families looking for a space of their own to enjoy each others company. With either three separate tables or as a single large dining table with its own open log fire, The Snug is comfortable for parties of up to sixteen people.

Our award winning mature gardens are a wonderful location to enjoy the best of the County's food and drink when the weather smiles upon us, and even when the weather is a little cooler our new heated Garden Shelter extends the al fresco experience throughout the year.
