With panoramic views from harbour across Tolcarne Bay, Kahuna is an enviable location and a great place to relax in this beach shack environment.
We specialise in private parties, barbeques and weddings, and in warmer weather use our large decked area & sandy terrace. You can't get closer to the beach that this!
Head Chef Ryan Mather uses the best ingredients to create modern British and World Cuisine. The changing specials board will keep you coming back for more and the seafood specials change with the availability of fresh locally caught fish and shellfish - lobster and mussels are a regular addition to the colourful blackboards and all are great value for money.
Kahuna uses local produce where possible.
One of our main suppliers is Flying fish who also supply some of the countries top celebrity chefs. The quality of their produce is outstanding! Our shellfish is even delivered live which guarantees absolute freshness. From sea to plate within 24hrs.

“I have to say, I once had a massive steaming bowl of fresh Cornish mussels here and it was like "the oracle of bowls of mussels".
If Carlsberg made mussels, they would be the best mussels in the world... and they would come from Kahuna...
Waxing lyrical over - lets be honest here, it is a gorgeous restaurant, sat on a beautiful beach... and they do cocktails.... could it BE anymore fantastic? ”
