Because he's worth it – baby seal steals hearts
This adorable seal pup emerged blinking from a Cornish cave into a hail of flash bulbs and instantly wowed a group of students.
The youngster was spotted by passengers on a coastal expedition to watch wildlife off the Duchy coastline, the first pup to be spotted this year.
A group aboard the AK Wildlife Cruises trip first caught sight of a female making her way from the darkness of the seal cave to the shoreline.
As they did, the pup waddled closely behind, prompting mother into a haughty swish of the head which earned her the nickname "L'Oréal", after the cosmetic company's famous advertising campaign.

The group from University College Falmouth's Tremough Campus were on a dedicated seal data collection trip.
A spokesman for the tour operation said: "After watching the wonderful sight for several minutes, the boat carried on its way to leave the young family in peace and search for more seals getting ready to pup as we break into autumn."
AK Wildlife Cruises operate 12 months of the year from Falmouth, providing access to a range of sea life, including whales, dolphins, sea birds and seals.
