Have your say: Is Bodmin a safer place?
A GROUP set up to make people feel safe in Bodmin is urging townsfolk to get in touch as it works out whether their plans and activities are making a difference.
Safer Bodmin, launched earlier this year, has been surveying the town on how safe they felt.
And members of the group are now encouraging residents to visit the Safer Cornwall website and add their views to those already collected.
A group spokesman said: "We will be collating the results of this public consultation in late October and using these to help direct our attention and amend our plans.

"We know from our statistics that domestic abuse, alcohol-related violence and antisocial behaviour are important issues, but what do you think?
"We are also going to hold public consultation meetings twice a year with the police and local councillors to listen to your views."
The first public consultation event will take place on October 24 at the Shire House suite Bodmin, from 7 to 8pm.
The spokesman added: "Ongoing work is continuing with agencies working together to address antisocial behaviour.
"This includes looking at licensed premises, and at the behaviour of individuals who are causing others to feel harassed or distressed."
