Redman was given unconditional bail by magistrates at Bodmin on Wednesday until he appears before a judge at Truro Crown Court on January 16.
The case has been sent to Crown Court because the alleged offences are too serious to be dealt with by magistrates.

One charge of indecently assaulting a boy under 14 was withdrawn at Bodmin Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
During Redman's previous hearing, Chris Hart, for the prosecution, said the charges alleged a variety of sexual activities with young boys in Newquay over a period from 1998 to 2002.
The charges relate to four alleged indecent assaults on a boy under 14 on July 15, 1998, 1999 and 2001, and gross indecency with a boy under 14 in July 2000. They also allege indecent assault on a boy under 16 on July 15, 2002, and three indecent assaults on boys aged under 14 and under 16 on August 20, 1999 and 2001.
