DOBWALLS travelled home pleased with their afternoon's work at Gala Parc which had seen them record their third consecutive league victory.

"We were very pleased with the players' professional approach to the game and the result was more comfortable than the final scoreline suggests," revealed Dobwalls' joint-manager Geoff Battams.

Port goalkeeper Richard Pennington saved from Nick Collins and Lee Caers before the latter raced clear to give the visitors a first half lead.

Dobwalls doubled their lead, a minute after the break, through Matt Lindsay and it was not until the last 15 minutes that Alan Thomas scored Port's goal.
