Lime plastering and pointing is a specialist technique which provides an effective way of keeping warmth in, and damp out of properties. An absorbent material, it holds excess water until it is evaporated rather than allowing it to soak into the stonework of the property where it can cause problems.

Lime mortars are cost-effective as they often cost less than the materials that they bind together, and rather than holding the structure together, lime mortars rely on the craftsmanship of the structure itself for stability making them cheap and easy to replace.
