Six treated after cars crash at failed lights

Six people were treated by paramedics after broken traffic lights caused a crash at a busy junction, police said. Two cars collided in Outland Road, Plymouth, yesterday following a series of traffic light failures near the Britannia Inn pub, a Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said. All six occupants of the cars were given medical treatment at the scene for shock and minor injuries. The accident happened shortly before 11.40am at the junction of Outland Road, Milehouse Road and Wolseley Road.
