The truth of UFO in Marazion is revealed
MYSTERY solved! The strange kite-shaped UFO object spotted flying off the beach with flashing red and blue lights at Marazion recently was indeed....a kite.
The Cornishman is indebted to Alex Orban, from St Just, who saw the object in the sky and was sufficiently intrigued to go and investigate.
"My sister and brother-in-law were down on holiday from Lincolnshire and staying in a seafront flat in Marazion," she said.
"I went over every evening to see them and every night, at about 10pm, we saw the object – it was very strange, certainly I've never seen anything like it before.

"On the last night my sister said 'let's go and have a gander' so we walked across the beach and spoke to a lovely man who was down on holiday and staying in Marazion for the week.
"It was a four metre triangular kite which he had made fixed with LCD lights which flashed on and off in a random pattern.
"It was amazing really and he even let us have a go holding it – despite its size it only had one line."
