HAYLE'S gardeners and horticulturists are celebrating scooping five wins at the recent Cornwall in Bloom awards.
Hayle library's wildlife garden was given a budding award, while Hayle in Bloom and King George V Adopt-a-Plotters both received a full bloom.

The Adopt-a-Plotters also got the overall award in the parks' and gardens' category and chairman of Hayle in Bloom Margaret Tanner was given a local hero award.
She said: "We were very pleased with our results because it has been quite a difficult year for various reasons, including the weather.
