Rush-hour crash at Tresillian slows traffic

Wednesday, November 19, 2008, 17:26

Emergency services have been called to Tresillian after a motorbike was in collision with a car.

Police say there is only one casualty - a male - who is breathing but suffering from back injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.

Drivers have been caught in tailbacks as rush hour traffic became caught up in the 4.50pm collision.

A police spokesman said the incident involved a black BMW 1150 motorbike and a green Vauxhall Corsa.

"The male casualty is breathing but is complaining of back injuries. We don't believe it is too serious at this time," he said.

The road has not been closed and traffic is flowing slowly as officers direct vehicles past the scene.
