A CAMBORNE man is celebrating his first year living in a converted chicken shed.

The home, also known as Roosters, was built for Simon, 29, who suffers from autism, to give him a little breathing space from the other care community members.

He is one of the 14 residents at Highdowns, run by care provider Regard, where people live in a mix of properties.

Delighted Simon said: "I like it because I can play my music as loudly as I want.
