Pedestrain dies after road crash

A PEDESTRIAN has died in a road traffic collision in Cornwall.

The 61-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on the A390 near St Austell at 10.30pm on Monday.

Police were called to the collision between a car and a pedestrian on the A390 at St Mewans Dip, two miles outside St Austell heading towards Truro.
